Dry litter = good litter?

Ask yourself the following questions: What do I see? What does it mean? What should I do? Click on the buttons in the image for more information.

You can see that there are particles fluttering down to the ground. This is a good sign because it means that the litter is dry.

However, litter always gets slightly wet from leaking nipples and spills. If the litter is too dry, this might be a sign that the birds are not drinking enough.

Check the water intake and if necessary the water output from the nipples all over the house.
